As the lead 2D artist and co-Art director of the game, my responsibility is to develop the look and feel of the game. This includes a lot of research on the style, concept and our approach on our main character's disability.

I worked closely with the project lead and other artists to develop the main narrative, design props and characters, storyboard and illustrated cutscene, as well as manage the team of 3 junior artists and UI/UX designer.  I also took part in the quality control process to make sure other artists in the team produce works that were suitable for the game's artistic vision.

REITTERATING DESIGN

From the explorations, me and the team pick out the best 3, and do a simplified version so see how we could animate and put our character in the game environment.

ASSETS DESIGN

Crafting assets game is particularly challenging because of its isometric view. It involves quite a lot of shape design to be able to make the objects look good and matche the art direction we want.
