For The Blue is a documentary about the problems and solution to plastic pollution in the ocean: projectblue.co.nz

The project consists of several short infographic animations within the documentary. In this project, I work collaboratively with a team of 3 motion graphic designers at Fox&Co design to concept, styleframe and animate.

All the works are done within Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects.
I did enjoy working on this project a lot as I did get to put a lot of my personal touch on the art direction of these infographic explainer videos. The client provided us with the script and the voice-over, and I built up the illustrations and motion from there.
Visualising scientific concepts and data is quite challenging, I did have to do a lot of reading and research to make sure I portrayed the content accurately while keeping it simple for the general public.
